Meet Abraham and Isaac

Abraham, initially named Abram, is a patriarch of the Hebrews and a key figure in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. He is known for his unwavering faith in the divine and his remarkable acts of generosity. Isaac, the son of Abraham and his wife Sarah, is considered the father of the Israelite nation.

Our coloring pages bring to life various scenes from their lives, allowing children to connect with these historical figures in a creative and engaging way.

The Journey to Canaan

The journey of Abraham and his family to the Promised Land, Canaan, is a thrilling adventure that can captivate young minds. Our coloring pages depict this journey, showing Abraham's trust in God's promise despite facing numerous challenges and relocating several times.

Children can color Abraham leading his family and their possessions, including livestock and servants, as they traverse different lands. They can also bring to life the dramatic scenes of Abraham's victories over kings, further illustrating his faith and bravery.

Sarah and Isaac's Birth

Abraham's promise of many descendants seemed impossible with Sarah's infertility. However, God honored Abraham's faith, and Sarah gave birth to Isaac in their old age. This miraculous event is beautifully depicted in our coloring pages.

Children can color the joyous scene of Isaac's birth, the celebration of his circumcision, and scenes from his toddler and childhood years, growing up amidst Abraham's numerous trials and triumphs.

Abraham's Test of Faith

One of the most powerful lessons from Abraham's life is his test of faith. Despite being asked to sacrifice his beloved son Isaac, Abraham obeyed God, demonstrating the depth of his faith.

Our coloring pages allow children to explore this difficult yet profound chapter of Abraham's life. They can color scenes like Abraham packing the wood and the fire for the sacrifice, his dialogue with Isaac, and the miraculous intervention of God's angel.

Abraham's Obedience

Abraham's unwavering obedience to God's directive to sacrifice Isaac is a testament to his faith. Our coloring pages depict Abraham's resolute steps towards Moriah, where the sacrifice was to take place, with Isaac carrying the firewood and Abraham carrying the knife and the fire.

Children can also color the climactic moment when Isaac asked Abraham about the lamb for the burnt offering. Abraham's response - "God will provide" - is a powerful statement of faith that children can ponder as they add color to their page.

God's Provision

Just as Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac, God intervened and stopped him. A ram was provided instead, demonstrating God's power and provision. This miraculous deliverance is a beautiful moment to color in our pages.

Children can also color the touching scene of Abraham and Isaac's reunion, symbolizing their deeper bond and Abraham's preservation of faith despite going through a grueling test.
