Let's delve into this exciting trend and learn what makes Bear Coloring Dubai a must-visit attraction.

What is Bear Coloring Dubai?

Bear Coloring Dubai is an innovative and interactive public art project that transforms the city's streetscapes into a giant canvas for large, detailed murals of teddy bears. Unlike conventional street art that adorns city buildings, Bear Coloring Dubai is designed to be colored in, literally.

This interactive street art was launched in 2021 by Dubai's Museum of Illusions, aiming to encourage public engagement with art and to brighten up the city's urban landscape. Each bear mural is a detailed, black-and-white drawing, inviting passersby to contribute to its completion.

How to Participate in Bear Coloring Dubai

Participating in Bear Coloring Dubai is simpler than you think. You don't need to be an artist or even own paint and brushes. Here's how you can join in:

1. Find a bear mural - usually located on buildings, walls, and fences around Dubai.
2. Grab some chalk or colored pencils - many participating locations provide these.
3. Choose a color and start filling in areas of the bear, staying within the lines and following the pattern.
4. Take a photo with your contribution and share it on social media using the hashtag #BearColoringDubai.

By doing this, you become an integral part of Dubai's art scene, helping to bring the city's walls to life, one bear at a time.

Where to Find Bear Murals in Dubai

The best places to find bear murals are areas with high foot traffic and vibrant street art scenes. Some prime locations include Al Quoz, La Mer, and Alserkal Avenue. Museums of Illusions in Al Seef and Dubai Marina Mall also feature bear murals.

However, the best way to find out where the latest bear murals are is to follow Dubai's official tourist board, Dubai's Official Account (@visitdubai), and the Museum of Illusionsреш Dubai's (@museumofillusionsdubai) official accounts on social media. They regularly update locations and encourage participants to share their experiences.
