Psychologists and therapists have embraced adult coloring books as tools for managing anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns, as the activity distracts from intrusive thoughts and promotes relaxation. The repetitive, mindful act of coloring also serves to quiet the mind, allowing for increased self-awareness and introspection.
