Paper Mache Dragon Mask

One popular way to use a dragon mask template is to create a paper mache mask. This involves printing and cutting out the template, then using it as a base for adding layers of paper and paste to create a sturdy, 3D mask.

To create a fire-breathing effect, you can attach LEDs or battery-operated tealights to the mask's nostrils. Just remember to never leave lit candles unattended. Here's a simple paper mache guide to get you started.

Cardboard Dragon Mask

Another option is to create a mask using sturdy cardboard. This method results in a lightweight, durable mask that's perfect for cosplay. After printing and cutting out the template, trace it onto cardboard and cut out the pieces. Glue the pieces together and add paint or markers for details.

For a more professional look, you can use an X-acto knife to create intricate designs and use acrylic paint to add colors. Once you're done, attach elastic string or craft ribbon to secure the mask to your face.
