Our Free Jesus and Children Coloring Page

At the heart of Christianity lies Jesus' love for children. Our coloring page depicts a tender moment between Jesus and a group of innocent children. The image captures the essence of Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Each child in the coloring page is unique, representing the diversity of young ones that Jesus welcomed and blessed. Surrounding them are simple yet striking elements, providing opportunities for your child to express their creativity while learning.

The Message Behind the Scene

Our free Jesus and Children Coloring Page offers a wonderful opportunity to nurture your child's spiritual growth. As they color, you could share the story of Jesus blessing the little children, highlighting his love, kindness, and care for even the youngest among us.

Encourage your child to imagine they're one of the children receiving Jesus' blessing. This can lead to insightful discussions about Jesus' teachings, his sacrifice, and what it means to follow him. The coloring page thus serves as a visual aide, making Bible stories more relatable and engaging for young learners.

Designing for Learning and Fun

We've designed our Jesus and Children Coloring Page with easy-to-color spaces, making it suitable for all ages and skill levels. The image is printed on standard A4 paper, perfect for home printing or classroom use.

Each download of the coloring page comes with a brief story or activity suggestion, helping you make the most of this educational resource. We've also included a simple coloring decree, encouraging children to color with the love and joy of Christ in their hearts.

Incorporating the Coloring Page into Learning Activities

Our free Jesus and Children Coloring Page is more than just a printout. It's a versatile tool that can be seamlessly integrated into various learning activities and themes:

Lesson on Love and Compassion

Pair the coloring page with Bible stories showing Jesus' love and compassion, such as the Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:3-7) or Jesus healing the sick (Matthew 8). Discuss these stories, asking your child to relate them to the scene on the coloring page.

After the discussion, encourage your child to write or draw their own story about showing love and compassion, following Jesus' example.

Art and Craft Project

Once the coloring page is complete, help your child turn it into a mini art or craft project. They could use colored pencils, markers, or even paint to add textures and depth to their masterpiece.

They could also create a 3D scene using the coloring page as a base, adding elements like clay figures, pipe-cleaner Jesus and children, and tissue paper or pom-pom sheep for a full Galilee-like landscape.

Encourage your child to share their completed coloring page and their story with family, friends, or their Sunday school class. See their eyes light up with pride as they discuss their artwork and what it means to them. This not only fosters creativity and confidence but also makes learning about Jesus an engaging and enjoyable experience.
