Understanding the Precious Moments Collection

The Precious Moments brand, created by Mr. Sam Butcher in 1978, is renowned for its tearjerker art and heartwarming figurines. The collection has since grown into a cherished symbol of love and innocence, appealing to collectors worldwide. Their Christmas Nativity series perfectly encapsulates this philosophy.

The Precious Moments style is readily recognizable, featuring large, staring eyes and small hands raised in prayer. These iconic details are present in their Christmas Nativity figurines, making them instantly recognizable and deeply beloved.

The Story of Precious Moments Nativity

The Precious Moments Nativity series began in the early 1980s, quickly becoming a staple during the holiday season. The collection tells the timeless story of Christmas through a series of figurines, each one capturing a moment in the birth of Jesus.

The Precious Moments Nativity set includes several themes and variations. Some depict the classic story, while others offer a unique twist, celebrating different cultures and interpretations.
