First, have the kids trace and cut out their slingshot shape from a piece of cardboard or heavyweight paper. Then, they can decorate it with markers or cover it with colorful duct tape. Next, punch two small holes at the top of the slingshot. Thread a piece of string through the holes, tie it in a double knot, and adjust the length for a perfect fit. Encourage your students to wave their slingshots and imagine the power of faith and determination like David had.

Begin by cutting out a bird shape from construction paper. Trace and cut additional bird shapes for the wings, tail, and feet. Let kids decorate their birds with markers, glitter, or stickers. Once finished, use a hole punch to create two small holes on either side of the bird's body. Thread a piece of yarn through the holes and tie a knot at the back to create a hanger. Discuss the different types of love, like love for family, friends, and God, as the children create their birds.

Forgiveness Flowers Craft

Teach children about the importance of forgiveness with this vibrant flower craft. As they create their flowers, discuss how even when we make mistakes, God always forgives us.

AD

Have each child fold a piece of construction paper in half, then cut along the folded edge to create a narrow strip. Unfold the strip to reveal a long, thin rectangle. Let kids decorate their strip with markers or crayons. After it's decorated, fold it back in half and begin cutting 1-inch strips along the long edge, stopping about 1 inch from the fold. Unfold the strip, fold it in half again, and staple the short edge together. You've just created a beautiful, blooming flower. As you discuss forgiveness, remind kids that just like their flowers, they can always start fresh and bloom again after making mistakes.

With these engaging printable Sunday school crafts, you're sure to inspire creativity, reinforce lesson messages, and create lasting memories with your Sunday school class. So dive in, explore, and have fun crafting!
