True Colors Trolls, an ensemble formed by postmen from the city of Moss, Norway, has gained global recognition for their extraordinary covers of popular songs. Their version of "Believer," released on YouTube in 2017, showcases their ability to blend traditional Norwegian folk music with modern pop rock, creating a distinctively beautiful sound.

Unique Combination of Genres and Styles

The fusion of Imagine Dragons' alternative rock with the Trolls' Norwegian folk music results in a fresh and engaging sound that appeals to a wide range of audiences. The traditional folk instruments, such as the Hardingfele (hardanger fiddle) and the nyckelharpa, harmonize beautifully with the rock elements.

Incorporation of Traditional Norwegian Instruments

The presence of traditional instruments, which are rarely heard in mainstream pop rock, is what sets this cover apart. The Hardingfele's sweet and melancholic melodies intertwine with the song's more robust rock sounds, while the nyckelharpa's rich texture provides a solid foundation.
