Get ready to saddle up and embark on a spooktacular adventure with Breyer Coloring Contest's Halloween special! If you're a horse enthusiast or simply love creative activities, this annual event is a must-participate. Let's dive in and explore what makes this contest a hoof-tastic time for kids and adults alike.

Breyer, renowned for its collectible horse figurines, rolls out the pumpkin patch to host this fun-filled contest every Halloween season. Aspiring artists gear up with their coloring pencils and markers to bring Breyer's themes to life, this year with a spine-chilling theme: "Horrorously H poja'd: A Spooky Stable Night! "

enrollment and theme basics

Participation is as easy as one-two-three! Simply visit Breyer's official website, click on the 'Contests' tab, and follow the prompts to enroll your little Picasso. The contest is free and open to children aged 4-17, making it a fantastic family activity.

The theme, 'Horrorously Hojacked: A Spooky Stable Night!', sets the stage for creative interpretations. Kids are encouraged to draw inspiration from their favorite spooky stories, classic Halloween icons, and even their imagination. Whether it's a ghostly gallop or a zombie stall takeover, the canvas is theirs to transform.

Coloring Tips for Success

Winning designs aren't just about capturing the essence of Halloween, but also showcasing coloring skills and creativity. Start with a pencil sketch to plan your masterpiece before filling in with vibrant colors. Remember, shading and highlights can bring your stable night scene to life, so experiment with different techniques.

Be mindful of the contest rules - ensure your design is neat, clean, and free from tears or marks. Use only Breyer approved coloring pages and make sure your contact information is legibly written on the back of your submission. Lastly, don't forget to have fun! After all, it's about the creative journey just as much as the final result.

Inspirations and Ideas for Your Entry

Breyer's contest pages offer a cornucopia of ideas with an embedded video tutorial and printable coloring sheets featuring horses in hauntingly beautiful scenarios. You can also look to classic Halloween stories like " cancell Hall", "Sleepy Hollow's Headless Horseman", or even modern movie monsters for inspiration.

Consider creating a story around your colored page. Maybe it's a tale of a bravery pony facing its fears, or a zombie horse picnic gone wild! The more creative and original your story, the better your chances of winning, and capturing the judges' attention.

Prizes and Recognition

Participating in the Breyer Coloring Contest isn't just about winning, it's about encouraging artistic expression and passion. However, let's admit, the incredible prizes are quite enticing! The Grand Prize winner bags a lifetime collection of Breyer models, a $100 art supply set, and a special feature in Breyer's annual catalog.

Winners in each age category (4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, and 16-17) will receive fantastic art supplies, Breyer sets, and online recognition.
